My last workshop in February 2025 was on understanding vicarious trauma.
I hope to be running this again at the end of September.
I am also writing a workshop to show how I work with young people who have experienced trauma.
This is a very exciting project as I aim to bring a case study to life using an actress who will improvise based around real work that I have done.
My workshops are always very experiential (not death by PowerPoint)
If you would like more information please send me an email. Even if there are no dates or availability at the moment, you can be sure once you are on my mailing list you will get priority and a discount on any future events.
Comments from attendees at Vicarious trauma workshop

My Background and therapeutic approach
I was born and educated in Aylesbury but spent some of my childhood in the Middle East. I have also lived in London, Chesham and Devon. I have worked for most of my adult life in the television and film industry, but after a bereavement and redundancy I found myself back in Aylesbury and with a determination to turn my life in a new direction. This is when I decided to train to become a counsellor and psychotherapist.
I believe that my life experiences have and continue to have a strong influence on my style of therapy.
But sometimes talking is not enough. I work with the whole person, spiritually and somatically, which means we get to dig beneath the surface sometimes to help you to understand what is really going on at all level of your being.
I have recently trained in Yoga Nidra, as well as having extensive experience of meditation and mindfulness. I bring elements of this into my work, which many find helpful. But the approach is always guided by you and what you feel comfortable with.

My latest projects
I now offer training for counsellors in all aspects of therapy (see upcoming projects page for more details).
I am also available to work as a consultant on film and theatre projects where psychotherapy may be a theme
