I was born and educated in Aylesbury but spent some of my childhood in the Middle East. I have also lived in London, Chesham and Devon. I have worked for most of my adult life in the television and film industry, but after a bereavement and redundancy I found myself back in Aylesbury and with a determination to turn my life in a new direction. This is when I decided to train to become a counsellor.

I believe that my life experiences have and continue to have a strong influence on my style of therapy. All problems, traumas and difficulties we face in life can be overcome, but that sometimes means we need the help of another human being to realise this. Therapy is about forming a relationship between the client and the counsellor in order to make that process possible. And, in a nutshell, that is what I do.
